Our Top 5 Best Products for Sleep
What Products are Best for Sleep?
This question is one that we get asked about daily. We may not be doctors, but there are 3 basic requirements that we ALL have in common that help with sleep:
-Drinking plenty of water (it's never enough!)
-Consuming a diet rich in fruits and vegetables (see the bottom of this post for a personal reference!)
-Exercising daily (even simple stretches boost blood-oxygen levels)
However, when the basics aren’t putting the issue to rest (literally) we have lots of product recommendations—but they vary from person to person. Check out our Top 5 Favorite Products for Sleep!
1. R&R CBD+CBN Sleep Gummies
If you've never tried hemp products, we recommend starting with a half serving size of a CBD-dominant product. Along with CBD and CBN (cannabinol, another naturally occurring cannabinoid known for its relaxing effects), R&R Sleep gummies are formulated with natural sleep-promoting ingredients Ashwagandha and L-theanine! They also contain 25mg Full-Spectrum CBD and CBN for maximum entourage effect benefits. Shop R&R's brand new CBD+CBN Sleep gummies here!
2. Bluebird Botanicals Downshift CBD+CBN Tincture
Tinctures are an excellent method of consumption due to their quicker onset time (think boosted absorption into your bloodstream via the tiny blood vessels under your tongue). Bluebird Botanicals was one of the first companies to begin formulating with hemp CBD in 2013. They remain US Hemp Authority certified for purity and potency. Their Downshift CBD+CBN tincture is a grounding PM supplement formulated with specific terpenes to relax into a calming evening routine. Shop Bluebird Botanicals tinctures here.
3. Arete Dream Gummies
Our most splurge-worthy recommendation are the Dream gummies by Arete. Arete Hemp founder Todd Campanella beat a severe case of lupus and obtained optimal health by educating himself on nutrition and taking action. The Dream gummies contain the perfect blended ratio of CBD, CBN, and a hint of melatonin to help ease into a restful nights’ sleep! Shop Arete gummies here.
4. Summit Delta-8 Gummies
If you've tried doubling your serving of CBD and it isn't cutting it, we recommend trying to add a low serving of THC. Hemp-derived Delta-8 THC gained tremendous popularity in recent years due to its relaxing effects and legality in non-legal cannabis states. We love Summit gummies for so many reasons: first off—the flavor! They also stand by the purity, potency, consistency that comes with being the sister brand of R&R Medicinals, one of the most reputable CBD companies in the nation and the first to become USDA Certified Organic in 2019. Shop Summit gummies here.
5. Realize Live Resin Gummies
Realize is a hemp-derived THC brand that has won multiple High Times Hemp Cups for edibles and non-edibles. This particular product is a THC-only gummy made with naturally occurring essence of Grandaddy Purple, a cannabis strain known worldwide for its calming and relaxing effects. They are also made using nano-soluble technology for better absorption and quicker onset time. Shop Realize gummies here.
On a side note...
Over the weekend I spoke with local business owner L’Tanya Bell Jarboe (aka The Old Hemp Farmer’s Wife) about our individual lifestyles and cannabinoid use. LT formulates a variety of products with and without hemp, and most importantly stresses the importance of FOOD as humans’ first form of medicine. LT is a cancer survivor and credits her plant-rich diet for changing her life and helping her to live out the rest of her life cancer-free. She says you can never underestimate the power of what you put into and onto your body. Check out some of her products here!
